3rd Annual Historic Art Exhibit Committee Requests Submissions

The community is invited to showcase their personally owned heirlooms, antiques and unique art objects at the 3rd Annual Historic Art Exhibition.

The entry application deadline is April 8.

The exhibition, organized by the City of Sierra Vista’s Arts & Humanities Commission, will showcase works of art that are at least 50 years old and in any medium, such as paintings, sculptures, pottery, furnishings or textiles.  Pieces loaned for the exhibit will be insured, secured and guarded during the weekend event.

A panel of judges will review and consider each application and select those items to display.  There is no fee for submission or limit on entries per household; however, one entry per application form, with photograph(s) of the art, is requested.

This exhibit of unique and unusual vintage items will be open to the public on April 29 and 30 at the Ethel Berger Center, 2950 E. Tacoma Street.

Be a Local Tourist

Be a Local Tourist

The City of Sierra Vista wishes the community, visitors and our servicemen and women the very best during this holiday season and in the upcoming year.

There are many people who need a helping hand during the holiday season.  Consider donating your time to one or more of the many service organizations who are especially short-handed during these weeks.  Serve a hot meal, wrap gifts for needy children and the elderly, or perhaps bake an extra pie and share it with someone who’s alone – the gift of your time will bring joy to many hearts.

Happy Holidays and a very bright and joyous New Year!
