Pack up the kids, chairs, and blankets and head to the new Centennial Pavilion for an afternoon of free family fun. DJ Tech FX will spin music throughout the day. Join us as we dance Zumba-style from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and groove to a live band, Reckless Abandon, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Grab a spot and let us entertain you all afternoon, then stay for the movie that night! This week’s movie is Despicable Me, rated PG.

Sierra Vista's 2nd annual Ambiance and History Gala

Many attended the Ambiance and History Gala last Saturday night at the Sarah Gibbs Botanical Gardens in Sierra Vista.

Twelve local restaurants and wineries were on hand for the second annual Gala.

Hundreds attend opening night of concert series

The 36th Army Band opened the Summer Concerts in the Park at the Centennial Pavilion located in Veterans’ Memorial Park.

Around 200 people attended opening night.
