Here is a list of City Council and Commission meetings for this week:
There are no City Council meetings this week. The next City Council Work Session will be on Monday, September 10.

Commission on Cultural Diversity - August 28, 5 p.m. - Oscar Yrun Community Center
Chair: AJ Biami - This is a regularly scheduled meeting.

LABOR DAY HOLIDAY INFORMATION AND CLOSURES:
All City of Sierra Vista facilities, except The Cove, will be closed, Monday, September 3, in observance of Labor Day. The Cove will offer Open Swim from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Trash Services Information
Public Works would like to remind refuse and recycling customers that service dates will change for this holiday. Refuse pick ups are as follows:
- Monday, September 3, moved to Tuesday, September 4
- Tuesday, September 4, moved to Wednesday, September 5
There are no modifications to the Thursday or Friday schedules. In addition, there will be no bulk trash or yard waste pickups on Wednesday, September 5.
Recycling pickups will be one week later in September:
- Monday–Thursday refuse customers: Recycling pickup will be Wednesday, September 12.
- Tuesday–Friday refuse customers: Recycling pickup will be Wednesday, September 26.
Transit buses will operate on a normal schedule September 3; however, there will be no curbside service that day.

Current or upcoming seats are available on the Commission on Disability Issues, Airport, Environmental Affairs, Library Advisory, Parks & Recreation, Sister Cities, and West End Commissions.
