Sulger residents are invited to meet the contractor and learn more about the sewer construction project in the area. The neighborhood meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at the First Baptist Church (1447 S. Seventh Street.)
Homeowners have an opportunity to ask questions and complete paperwork needed to connect to the new sewer system.
Fees to connect residential homes and decommission existing septic tanks in the project area have been reduced to a minimum, thanks to grant funding for the sewer line construction. The City is offering low-interest, long-term loans for the $2,400 connection fee, and will reduce the bi-monthly sewer fee by 50 percent for the first five years of service.
