Police say woman made up armed robbery incident | Crime
A woman was arrested after she allegedly reported a fake armed robbery to police on Monday, Sierra Vista Department spokeswoman Officer Tracy Grady said.
Kayla Saylor, 27, was arrested at the police department without incident on June 6 for False Reporting to Law Enforcement.
According to Officer Grady, Saylor said she was robbed at knife-point at the Wal-mart located at 500 N. Hwy. 90. The male suspect allegedly took her rent money.
Saylor reported to police that the armed robbery took place on June 1 at 5:01pm.
