Sierra Vista Police request information on robbery suspect

Sierra Vista Police are looking for a suspect involved in a robbery incident that occurred over the weekend. 

On the afternoon of December 16, SVPD responded to a call about a purse-snatching at the Fry’s Food Store at 4351 E. Highway 90.  According to SVPD, an elderly couple had finished grocery shopping and had been loading the groceries in their car when the suspect ran up and took the woman’s purse and ran across the parking lot. 

Officials are describing the suspect as a white male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white graphics on the back.  The suspect was last seen running east through the store parking lot.  The suspect jumped fence and was headed east toward Tree Top Avenue.
