Driver of vehicle identified, SVPD request help in finding him | Crime
Early in the morning on November 11, officers with the Sierra Vista Police Department responded to a call about a man with a gun.
According to SVPD, when officers arrived at JR’s Food and Spirits at 4225 Avenida Cochise, security personnel told them a man, became belligerent and disorderly after being asked to leave the club.
As the man left the club, according to reports a vehicle pulled up and picked him up; but before the vehicle pulled away the disorderly man waved a shotgun as club security.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle, according to police, after getting several descriptions from witnesses. SVPD found the car near El Camino Real and Coronado.
The vehicle fled from the officers, after they tried to stop it.
SVPD was able to locate the car again, this time at a nearby apartment, the driver fled the scene on foot as officers arrived.
The driver of the vehicle was later identified by SVPD as Arthur Gardner, a 23-year-old resident of Sierra Vista.
There is probable cause to arrest Gardner and the SVPD is asking for help in regard to information on his whereabouts.
