SVPD arrest woman after she tries to shoot her husband | Crime
The Sierra Vista Police Department responded to an early morning call from a husband, reporting his wife tried to shoot him.
SVPD officers arrived at the home in the 600 block of South First Street in Sierra Vista and found the woman, identified as Beate Alexandra Bohan, disarmed. According to SVPD officials the couple, Bohan and her husband had been arguing over a pending divorce.
At one point Bohan left the room and retrieved a gun, according to SVPD, and went back into the living room and allegedly fired the weapon at her husband. SVPD investigators stated the husband was not hit and was able to wrestle the gun away from Bohan.
Bohan was arrested and charged with the following – domestic violence, attempted first degree murder. She is currently booked into the Cochise County Jail.
