We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!  And we hope that you’ll take a moment to give thanks to the people in your life who have helped you, supported you, hugged you, and loved you.

Begin or continue a holiday tradition by taking the family to the 13th Annual Festival of Trees at The Mall at Sierra Vista.  Already displayed, these embellished trees, wreaths and other symbols of the holiday season will put a smile on your face as you stroll down the center aisle of The Mall.  Don’t procrastinate as the Festival will end on November 29.

To continue with getting-out-and-about during this magical time of year, take the family to the Christmas Parade in Douglas on Saturday, November 24.  This may be a great time to walk off the Thanksgiving pumpkin pie.  The parade’s theme “A Charlie Brown Christmas” is certain to entertain the little ones and seniors alike.  The parade begins at 7:00 p.m. on 3rd Street and G Avenue.

For information and directions, call the Sierra Vista Visitor Center at 417-6960 or stop by the Visitor Center in the Oscar Yrun Community Center, 3020 E. Tacoma Street.
