Black Friday shopping in Sierra Vista was “all amped up” with large crowds everywhere. Most shoppers were purchasing large screen HDTV’s during the earlier than normal Thanksgiving night start for Black Friday. The local big box retailers were well organized and brought in extra security to help with the high volume shopping. This year shoppers were well educated using both store flyers and smartphones to check on the latest deals while standing in line.
