Sierra Vista's online payment system to go down temporarily | Business
The City of Sierra Vista’s online payment system at www.SierraVistaAZ.gov will be down starting October 1, as the City “goes live” with the billing modules of its new financial software system.
September 30 will be the last day customers can pay their sewer and sanitation bill online before the upgrade. Customers can mail or drop off payments at City Hall, located at 1011 N. Coronado Drive. For added convenience, a payment drop box is located in the parking lot in front of City Hall.
The payment due date will be extended three weeks to allow additional time for customers to remit their payment. The new due date is October 23.
The City has been running the new software, Munis, since June, testing alongside the current system to ensure a smooth transition with little or no impact to resident and City service customers.
“We apologize for this temporary inconvenience,” says David Felix, City’s finance manager. “The new software will increase the City’s online presence by offering more features and access to view and pay other City bills online.”
The City will announce when the new system is online and available to residents.
