Local tourist events for Sierra Vista residents | Arts & Culture
You too can be a ‘local tourist’ in Sierra Vista next week. Just pick an event and date and mark it on your calendar.
Arizona Folklore Preserve:
For the annual Christmas Show with Dolan Ellis, as he is very popular and his shows sell out quickly, we recommend that you make your reservations now. Dolan will be performing on December 27 at the intimate Arizona Folklore Preserve in beautiful Ramsey Canyon.
If you’ve never been to a performance at the Arizona Folklore Preserve, or if it’s been a while since your last visit, you’ve missed many talented and entertaining singers, songwriters, musicians and storytellers. The Folklore Preserve (www.arizonafolklore.com) has an intimate performance center where you’ll feel as if you are enjoying music in your own living room. Shows are normally scheduled on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with occasional changes and additions. Reservations are required; call 378-6165 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For information and directions, call the Sierra Vista Visitor Center at 417-6960, or stop by the Visitor Center in the Oscar Yrun Community Center, 3020 E. Tacoma Street.
